Peakime Help & FAQ
Straight answers about every Peakime platform, Peak Coins, creator earnings, FANOA, privacy, community conduct and the law behind all of it — pulled directly from the policies that govern them.
Every answer here is consistent with the full policy it summarises — the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Creator Earnings & Payout Policy, Payments Policy, FANOA policy, Copyright Policy, Community Guidelines and Account Deletion page. Where a question needs more detail than fits here, the relevant policy is linked from the Legal Center.

What is Peakime?
Peakime is the flagship brand and unified account layer for an ecosystem of creative platforms: Peakovels (web novels), Peakart (webtoons, manga and illustration), Peakime TV (video and animation), Peakpen (writing), Peakbrush (digital art), Peakit (creator and fandom community), CraftyPeak AI (AI image, video and 3D character generation), PeakAI Studio (creative AI studio and studio workflows) and FANOA (fan-funded adaptation). One Peakime ID gives you access to all of them.
What is a Peakime ID, and why does it matter?
Your Peakime ID is the single account behind every Peakime service. It carries your username, security settings, age status, account standing, Peak Coin balance and creator status across the whole ecosystem — so you never need separate accounts for Peakovels, Peakart, Peakit, CraftyPeak AI, PeakAI Studio and the rest. It also means serious actions, like a suspension or account deletion, apply to the whole ecosystem identity, not just one app.
What is Peakovels?
Peakime’s web-novel and written-story platform. Authors publish novels, stories and serialized works; readers discover, follow and read them, unlocking eligible chapters with Peak Coins, a subscription or another supported entitlement where the creator has set that up. Some content is free.
What is Peakart?
Peakime’s visual-storytelling platform — webtoons, manga, comics and illustration. Like Peakovels, content may be free, premium, Coin-unlocked or subscription-based depending on what the creator and the specific work’s programme allow.
What is Peakime TV?
Peakime’s video and streaming platform — animation, series, shorts, dramas, AI-assisted productions, creator adaptations, trailers and PeakCraft’s own productions, including completed FANOA projects. What’s available can vary by territory, licensing, age classification and subscription status.
What is Peakpen?
Peakime’s writing and publishing environment — where creators actually write, edit and organise stories, chapters and manuscripts. Work saved in Peakpen stays private unless and until you choose to publish it; storing a draft there is not the same as publishing it.
What is Peakbrush?
Peakime’s digital-art and visual-creation environment — drawing, painting, illustration and comic-creation tools. Like Peakpen, an unpublished Peakbrush project stays private and distinct from anything you deliberately publish.
What is Peakit, and what’s a Panel?
Peakime’s creator, reader and fandom community, built around richer creator communication than a typical short social post. A Panel is Peakit’s publishing format for that — high-quality artwork, long-form posts, visual presentations, multi-page material, fandom discussion and creator announcements all live there.
How old do I need to be to use Peakime?
You need to meet the age and legal-capacity requirements that apply to the specific feature you’re using — different features (reading, publishing, receiving creator payouts, accessing mature content) can have different requirements. Where a parent or guardian’s consent is legally required, Peakime provides an appropriate consent process. See the Terms of Service for the full eligibility section.
Can I use a pen name instead of my real name?
Yes. Peakime supports pseudonymous public creator identities — your public name doesn’t need to match your legal name. Private verification of your legal identity is only required for specific regulated purposes, like creator payouts or tax reporting, and it never has to become your public name.
What should I do if I think my account was compromised?
Contact [email protected] as soon as possible. For a vulnerability in the platform itself rather than your specific account, use [email protected]. Peakime may temporarily restrict a suspected-compromised account — including pausing purchases, payouts and password changes — purely to protect you while it’s investigated.
What are Peak Coins?
Peak Coins are virtual credits used to unlock chapters, novels, webtoon or manga episodes, premium Panels and other digital content, and to acquire Powerstones. They are not legal tender, cryptocurrency, a security or an investment, and — unless Peakime introduces a specific legally compliant redemption programme — they cannot be exchanged back for cash.
Can I get a refund on a Peak Coin purchase or an unlocked chapter?
Generally no, once the Coins or content have been delivered — digital purchases are final the moment they’re unlocked, following the same rule used across the industry for immediately-delivered digital goods. The exceptions are a verified technical failure (you were charged but never received the Coins), a duplicate charge, or where applicable law or your app marketplace requires a refund. Contact [email protected] for any of these.
How do I cancel a subscription?
Through whichever platform actually bills you — the App Store, Google Play, or Peakime’s own web checkout if that’s what you used. Cancelling stops future renewal but doesn’t refund a billing period that already started. Deleting your Peakime account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription — you need to cancel it separately through that store.
Does Peakime sell physical merchandise, and can I return it?
Yes — books, prints, apparel and collectibles are available as standard physical goods. Return eligibility, the return window and condition requirements are shown on the product page. A standard item that arrives defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied is covered by the applicable legal remedy.
Can I cancel a commissioned artwork or custom order?
Only before meaningful custom work has actually begun. Once a creator has started producing something made specifically for you, it becomes non-cancellable and non-refundable except where the final piece is defective, damaged, or materially different from what you ordered.
What’s the difference between a pre-order and a FANOA contribution?
A pre-order is payment toward a specific product that will be delivered later — you’re buying a defined thing. A FANOA contribution is support toward a project’s creative development, without a guaranteed specific product or delivery date. Peakime is careful to keep the two clearly labelled so you know which one you’re making.
Do prices include tax, and what if I pay in a different currency?
Prices may include or exclude tax depending on the transaction, your jurisdiction and the payment platform, with applicable taxes added, collected or reported as required. If your payment currency differs from the displayed currency, your bank, payment provider or Peakime may perform a conversion, and conversion charges can apply.
What are Powerstones?
Powerstones are digital fan-support items you can direct to a creator using Peak Coins. They’re a way to show support — not an investment, not equity, and not a claim on future profits from the creator’s work.
How much do creators actually earn?
Peakime’s standard split is 60% of Net Eligible Revenue to the creator and 40% retained by Peakime. Net Eligible Revenue is the amount left after transaction-level deductions like app-store commissions and payment-processing costs — so the 60% is calculated on what Peakime actually receives, not the sticker price a reader paid.
What’s the difference between my Peak Coin wallet and Creator Earnings?
Completely separate systems. Peak Coins sit in a reader’s consumer wallet. Creator Earnings live in a creator’s financial ledger. Buying Coins doesn’t generate revenue for anyone by itself — earnings become attributable only when a reader actually spends Coins on a specific creator’s content or Powerstones.
How do I become eligible to earn on Peakime?
Peakime looks at factors like account standing, activity, audience, engagement, originality, content compliance and jurisdiction. When the system thinks you’ve met a threshold, you’ll get an eligibility notification inviting you to start onboarding — verification of your identity, tax details and payout account still has to be completed before payouts actually turn on.
When do creators actually get paid?
After they clear the payout threshold shown on their creator dashboard, complete identity and tax verification, and reach the applicable payout date on Peakime’s schedule. Earnings also go through a short settlement period first, to allow for refunds and chargebacks to clear.
If a reader gets a refund, does that affect what I’ve earned?
Yes — Creator Earnings depend on the underlying transaction being valid. If it’s refunded, charged back, or found fraudulent, the associated earnings are reversed too: deducted from anything still pending, or offset against future earnings if it was already paid out.
Does earning on Peakime make me a Peakime employee?
No. Participating in a standard creator monetisation programme doesn’t by itself make you an employee, officer or agent of PeakCraft Studios. A separate employment or production relationship exists only if a specific additional agreement establishes one.
What is FANOA?
FANOA — From Novel to Anime — is Peakime’s fan-funded initiative for moving stories from text into manga, webtoons, animation, drama and live-action. Fans donate toward a project’s next milestone; eligible projects can move step by step from illustration to full production.
Where does my FANOA donation actually go?
It uses the same standard split as everywhere else on Peakime: 60% to the creator, 40% to Peakime, calculated on the Net Eligible FANOA Revenue after payment-processing costs. Peakime’s 40% is not kept as profit — it’s pooled back into FANOA to help fund other creators’ projects that don’t get enough donations on their own.
Do I have to pay to watch something FANOA made?
Not if fans funded it. Anything produced using fan-donated FANOA money is released completely free, with no Peak Coin unlock and no subscription gate — the audience that funded it already paid, so they don’t pay twice. The exception is a project PeakCraft funded with its own money rather than fan donations, which PeakCraft may monetise to recoup that investment.
Is there a minimum FANOA donation?
No. Any amount is a complete, welcome act of support — FANOA is built so a story’s fate depends on how many fans care, not on how much any one fan can afford.
If a FANOA project hits its funding goal, is the anime guaranteed?
Reaching the goal means production can begin — it’s not an instant result. Contracts, rights verification, animation, voice work and rendering all still take time, and Peakime provides estimates rather than binding release dates unless a project explicitly commits to one.
Does FANOA use AI in production?
It can, as one step among others — concept development, previsualisation, animation or voice work, where lawful and appropriately authorised. It doesn’t mean every FANOA production is AI-generated; larger or better-funded projects may move to more extensive human-led animation instead.
Does Peakime sell my personal data?
No. Peakime does not operate by selling personal information to third parties for money. Information is shared only with service providers and partners as needed to run the platform — payment processors, cloud infrastructure, and similar — under contractual limits on how they can use it.
Does Peakime use my private drafts to train AI?
No. Uploading Creator Content — including private manuscripts in Peakpen or artwork in Peakbrush — never automatically authorises Peakime to use it for training general-purpose generative AI models. Automated processing that supports features like search, recommendations, moderation and translation is different from AI-model training, and is not affected by this commitment.
What if I live in the EU, UK, California or India — do I have extra rights?
Yes. Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or India’s DPDP framework applies to you, Peakime provides the specific access, correction, deletion, portability and objection rights those laws require, on top of the general rights every user has. Requests go to [email protected].
How do I delete my account, and is it permanent right away?
Start from Settings → Account → Delete Account. Confirmed deletion requests enter a 90-day recovery window during which the account is deactivated but not yet erased — logging back in and confirming during that window cancels the deletion. After 90 days, deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed, so back up anything you want to keep before you start.
I changed my mind after requesting deletion — can I get my account back?
Yes, any time during the 90-day window — log back in and confirm through the supported reactivation process, and the pending deletion is cancelled. Once the 90 days pass without reactivation, the deletion becomes permanent and Peakime cannot restore the account.
If I delete my account, do I lose Creator Earnings I’m owed?
No — account deletion never lets Peakime confiscate Creator Earnings that are legally payable to you. You may still need to complete identity, tax or payout verification before the funds are released, but deleting the account doesn’t erase a legitimate financial obligation.
Who owns the story or artwork I publish on Peakime?
You do. Publishing on Peakime never transfers your copyright to PeakCraft — you grant a limited platform licence that lets Peakime host, display and distribute your work to operate the service, nothing more. Any adaptation into anime, film or merchandise beyond that ordinary licence requires a separate signed agreement with you.
How do I report a copyright violation?
General copyright complaints go to [email protected]. Notices specifically invoking the U.S. DMCA go to [email protected]. Include the work, the infringing material’s location, and your basis for the claim — Peakime may request more information if a report is incomplete.
Is mature content allowed on Peakime?
Some Peakime services allow mature creative themes subject to accurate content classification, age restrictions and safety controls. What’s never allowed, regardless of classification, is child sexual abuse material, non-consensual intimate imagery, credible threats, or content that facilitates real-world harm — those have zero tolerance and can result in immediate account termination.
What kind of behaviour is never allowed, even outside mature content?
Sustained targeted harassment, doxxing, credible threats, hate speech that dehumanises people for a protected characteristic, deceptive impersonation of another creator or Peakime staff, and coordinated platform manipulation (fake engagement, bot networks, payment fraud) are all prohibited regardless of content rating. Fiction exploring dark themes is not the same as real-world harm — context matters.
Do I have to disclose when content is AI-generated?
Where required by Peakime or applicable law, yes — materially synthetic or manipulated audio, visual or audiovisual content needs appropriate disclosure, and Peakime may apply its own label or provenance marker. Deliberately removing or falsifying that marker to deceive viewers is a policy violation.
Can I appeal a moderation decision?
Yes, where an appeal process is available for the specific action taken. Appeals are reviewed with additional context, account history and whatever information you provide — it’s a genuine review, not a guarantee of reversal, but Peakime does take mistakes by automated systems and reviewers seriously.
How do I report an urgent safety issue?
Use the in-product Report button where available. For urgent matters — child-safety concerns, credible threats, or anything needing immediate attention — email [email protected] directly. For a formal grievance under applicable law, use [email protected].
What law governs Peakime, and where are disputes handled?
The Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India, specifically Andhra Pradesh, subject to mandatory consumer and statutory rights that can’t be excluded by contract. Disputes are subject to the competent courts at Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, India, and users are encouraged to first go through Peakime’s own support, grievance or legal channels.
Can my account be suspended or terminated, and why?
Yes. Peakime may temporarily restrict an account to protect users, creators or payment systems during an investigation — that alone doesn’t mean wrongdoing has been decided. Permanent termination is reserved for sufficiently serious or repeated violations, like severe child-safety issues, systematic piracy, significant fraud, or serious security abuse. Because everything runs on one Peakime ID, a permanent termination can affect the whole ecosystem, not just one app.
How do I contact the Grievance Officer?
Email [email protected]. Peakime’s designated Grievance Officer handles formal grievances under applicable law, separate from ordinary product support.
