Peakime Featured Creator Programme Agreement

The separate, opt-in agreement that applies only if Peakime invites you into a curated creator programme — never created automatically by publishing or performing well.

Effective 11 August 2026 Last updated 11 August 2026 PeakCraft Studios Private Limited

This Agreement only applies if PeakCraft invites you into a curated creator programme — a spotlight programme, an editorial-support track, or another initiative Peakime designates as "Featured" — and you expressly accept that invitation for a specific work. It does not apply to your general use of Peakime; ordinary publication is governed by the Creator & Publishing Agreement alone.

We’re publishing this framework openly, before any creator is ever offered one, because vague "selected creator" contracts are exactly what has drawn criticism and litigation against other platforms in this industry. Nothing here should surprise you the day you actually get an invitation.

Invitation-only, never automatic

No programme applies to you or your work unless you receive and accept a specific invitation.

Support terms disclosed upfront

Stipend, editorial help and marketing — whatever’s offered is stated in the invitation, not implied.

First negotiation, not automatic option

Any adaptation right this programme grants Peakime is a right to talk first — never a right to acquire on preset terms.

Copyright and ancillary rights untouched

Peakime will never ask a Featured Creator to give up ownership, moral rights or merchandising as a standard condition.

How Selection Works

1. How Selection Works

Peakime may identify a work as eligible for a Featured Creator programme based on factors such as audience response, community ranking, creative quality, technical feasibility and commercial potential. Eligibility does not create an entitlement — being read frequently or ranking well does not guarantee an invitation, and Peakime is not obligated to explain every selection decision.

An invitation is specific. It identifies which programme is being offered, which work or works it covers, its duration, and the material terms described below. You are never enrolled automatically, and never enrolled for works you did not agree to include.

What You Get & What You Give

2. What Peakime May Provide

Depending on the specific programme, an invitation may offer some or all of the following — this framework describes the menu; it does not itself promise any particular benefit unless your invitation states it.

chevron_right Financial support — a monthly stipend or milestone-based payment, in addition to your standard Creator Earnings.
chevron_right Editorial support — story consultation, pacing feedback, or access to an editor.
chevron_right Marketing and promotion — featured placement, front-page spotlighting, or coordinated launch promotion.
chevron_right Production resources — illustrators, storyboard artists or production coordination, for visual/audiovisual programmes.

3. What You Agree To In Exchange

In exchange, an invitation may ask you to accept defined, bounded terms — always stated explicitly, never implied by this framework.

Peakime will never ask a Featured Creator to give up copyright ownership, moral rights, or ancillary rights such as merchandising, as a standard condition of this programme. Any such request would require its own separate, explicitly negotiated agreement — never bundled into a Featured Creator invitation.
chevron_right A limited exclusivity window for the specific covered work only — never extending to your other works unless separately named.
chevron_right A minimum content commitment, such as an update schedule appropriate to an effective editorial or marketing programme.
chevron_right A right of first negotiation for adaptation — Peakime gets the first conversation about a FANOA production or adaptation deal, not an automatic option to acquire rights at a pre-set price.
chevron_right Programme-specific revenue terms, if the financial-support model differs from the standard 60/40 split — disclosed before you accept, never applied retroactively.
Term & Related Agreements

4. Term and Renewal

A Featured Creator arrangement runs for the term stated in your invitation. Where a programme is intended to renew, your invitation states the renewal mechanism — automatic renewal requiring your continued consent, or a defined renewal negotiation window. Peakime will not silently extend an arrangement past its stated term without your agreement.

5. Leaving the Programme

You may decline a Featured Creator invitation with no effect on your ordinary Peakime account, your ability to publish, or your Creator Earnings eligibility — declining a curated programme is never held against a creator.

Once accepted, you may end your participation according to the notice period stated in your invitation. Ending participation does not, by itself, terminate a separate signed FANOA production agreement already in effect for that work — that agreement is governed by its own terms.

Peakime may end a Featured Creator arrangement for material breach of this Agreement, the Creator & Publishing Agreement or the Terms of Service, or where continuing becomes impractical for legitimate creative, legal or business reasons, consistent with any notice period stated in your invitation.

6. Relationship to Other Peakime Agreements

This Agreement supplements, and never replaces, the Creator & Publishing Agreement, which continues to govern the base licence you grant Peakime, your representations and warranties, and your indemnification obligations. Where this Agreement states a specific additional term for the covered work, that term controls for that work; the Creator & Publishing Agreement governs everything else.

This Agreement does not itself grant Peakime adaptation or production rights. Where a Featured Creator programme leads to an actual FANOA production or adaptation deal, that deal is documented separately under the Adaptation & Option Rights Framework.

An Invitation, Not a Trap

A curated programme should feel like an opportunity, not a contract you regret signing. Every term you’d be agreeing to is listed here, in plain language, before you’re ever offered one.
